In the Belly of the Beast

Tonight I'm reporting from enemy territory.  I'm at the National Association of Black Journalist's convention in Las Vegas.  In the coming days both Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama will be speaking to the convention attendees.  The speeches will be predictable as will the response--overwhelming support.  Hence the assertion of being in enemy territory. 

Well over 90% of African-Americans support the Democratic party.  They are enamored with anything or anyone with the Clinton name in it.  Considering that not a single policy of the Democrats are good for the African-American community, I'll never know why.  But what I do know is this.

Clinton and Obama think they are coming into friendly territory, but they didn't count on me.  I'll be here to ask the hard questions the rest of the convention attendees will not ask.  Starting tomorrow, I'll be making sure they get asked the questions they should be asked.  Their assertions regarding taxes, health care, and the War will be challenged.  So get ready for the fireworks.
