I'm a African-American who is proud to be Republican!
I'm a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Speech Communications and Finance. My professional life has been in the field of financial planning and insurance. Outside of my professional life, I have written a number of articles for magazines, websites, and I’ve even written a produced stage play. That’s the bullet on me, now let’s get to the interesting stuff—why I’ve created this blog.
The purpose of this blog is twofold. To first it examine and commentate on the political happenings in this country from a reasoned and logical point of view. That means I deal with facts, and real world consequences. I take emotion out of the equation, because emotion more often than not leads in the wrong direction.
I’m a Republican, and a conservative. Why? Because very often they’re right in thier positions. They're using their heads not their emotions. Unfortunately, Democrats and liberals lead with their emotions. Being emotional leads to mistakes in life and in policies. That doesn’t mean the Republicans and conservatives don’t jump off the track of logic at times. They do, and when it happens I will call them on it.
This blog is not about ideology, it's about reason and logic. It’s about using your brain to think through the problems and come up with logical conclusions. That’s what I do.
Which brings me to the second reason for this blog. Black Americans need to be Republican! I’m stating here and now that the Republican Party and its values have more in common with the values of African-Americans than the Democratic Party. The goals of the Republican Party are goals that are better for African-Americans, and I’m going to prove that through logic and reason. I’m committed to waking my people up, and showing them how the Democrats have completely bamboozled them.
Logical reasoning, well written movies, investments, writing, reading, fine dining, football,
